Change is in the Air
The U.S. Department of Energy is working very hard to develope the infrastructure to support the energy needs of our country. Advances in wind, hydro and geothermal energy will allow our country to take advantage of clean and abundant energy for the future.
As the energy industry grows and changes training and instruction in the various fields will be at a greater demand than ever. The Institute of Energy Development (IED) is working very hard to develop curriculum for the future.
Over the past several years wind energy has matured into a viable industry able to provide for the power needs of many throughout the United States. With the price of oil increasing and the federal mandates for cleaner fuel there is more interest in wind energy every minute.
As the industry changes the need for quality trained lawyers and landmen will expand not to mention the number of current landmen that will need additional training to help understand the changing laws and regulations surrounding this expandding industry.
Power of Partnership
IED is partnering with The Petroleum Landman School and providing them and their students with the most up-to-date training material available. The Petroleum Landman School is growing and expanding classes throughout the U.S. They are well established in Oklahoma and Texas. They are developing classes in Colorado, West Virginia to be announced soon. We look forward to having a long working relationship with this outstanding organization.
