A Note from David Melton, Founder of Petroleum Landman School, LLC.

Hello. My name is David Melton and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in the Petroleum Landman School and for visiting our web site.

As a 30 year veteran to the business and as the general manager of a large landman brokerage firm, I saw the need to provide better training for our newcomers to the business as well as provide continuing education for those who had been in the business for a while.

I'm proud to say, the school has been growing in popularity and has earned the respect of other educators and my fellow landmen.

All of our classroom materials are designed to be used in the field as reference guides. It is the goal and the objective of the school not only to educate and train, but give you the confidence you need to start working upon completion of the school and instilling confidence that you can perform at industry standards when called upon.

I love my career as a Petroleum Landman and thoroughly enjoy teaching others the trade. Further, I can honestly say, I've never seen the need for field landmen in such high demand as it is right now.
 
We've worked very hard at creating the school into something that you would feel good about taking and creating a fun learning environment.
